About

Ethics and the Naval Warrior is a short podcast with off-the-cuff discussions of leadership, ethics, and law, by and for the Naval Warrior produced through the Stockdale Center For Ethical Leadership at the U.S. Naval Academy.

Guests include senior US Navy and Marine Corps officers who draw on their experience when discussing topics that are relevant to ethical, philosophical, and legal dilemmas that they have faced in the course of their careers. Midshipmen, as well as Junior Officers, are particularly encouraged to listen.

Ethics and the Naval Warrior is hosted by Michael Sears, a 1978 USNA grad. Michael spent 5 years in the Marine Corps, then earned a JD/MBA from Stanford University, and went on to a successful career in several prominent Silicon Valley companies.
